AMI is a founding member of the Tri-Faith Initiative of Omaha, a globally unique project that deliberately co-locates a synagogue, church and mosque with a common desire to foster mutual understanding, respect and friendship. AMI will be the Muslim presence on the Tri-Faith campus, which will support our mission to promote a better understanding of Islam in the Western world.

We join Temple Israel, who in 2013 became the first partner to construct a facility on the campus. The envisioned faith partnership will be completed when the Christian partner—Countryside Community Church (United Church of Christ)—relocates its congregation to its future facility on the Tri-Faith campus, a process that commenced in 2015. A Tri-Faith center will eventually rise from the campus as well.

We look forward to an enduring partnership with our brothers and sisters of the Abrahamic faiths. The community has shown tremendous support for The Tri-Faith Initiative of Omaha, a historic endeavor and very likely the first of its kind in the world. The four buildings will form a multi-faith neighborhood of collaboration serving Omaha, the Heartland, and ultimately a global community.

The initiative includes the following partners:
